Welcome to Critters & Crayons Enrichment Dens, where childhood is celebrated, curiosity is encouraged, and learning is an adventure!

At Critters & Crayons, we believe that parents are an essential part of their child’s educational journey. Our goal is to work alongside homeschool parents, providing a supportive partnership that complements the learning taking place at home.

We offer a warm, engaging, small-group environment where children can learn, explore, create, build friendships, and gain confidence while receiving meaningful academic enrichment.

Our unique 2-year program, Pre-K through Kindergarten enrichment meets children where they are developmentally. This program is designed to support each child’s individual growth while giving homeschool families an additional educational resource and community.

With early childhood education & experienced teachers, thoughtfully planned curriculum, hands-on activities, purposeful play, and plenty of opportunities to discover, Critters & Crayons is more than an enrichment. We are a community of families and educators working together to help children thrive.

 

Our Mission

Our mission at Critters & Crayons Enrichment Dens is to partner with homeschool families to provide high-quality, developmentally appropriate enrichment experiences that complement and support each family’s educational goals.

We recognize that homeschool parents are leading their child’s education, and our role is to come alongside them—offering encouragement, resources, meaningful instruction, and a welcoming learning community.

Through hands-on learning, small-group instruction, purposeful play, creativity, and meaningful relationships, we support the whole child—academically, socially, emotionally, and creatively.

We encourage children to ask questions, solve problems, try new things, develop independence, build friendships, and discover the joy that comes from learning.

Most importantly, we believe childhood should never be rushed. Education is not about pushing children ahead before they are developmentally ready. It is about meeting them where they are, building a strong foundation, and helping them confidently take their next steps.
